Your search doesn’t speak parts.
We translate.
Buyers type Q0120, 12/2 MC cable, 316ss 1/4-20 wing nut. Your site says 0 results.
Partsift translates manufacturer part numbers, trade slang, half-specs, and typos into the SKUs you actually carry — on the site you already have.
- One line of code. No site rebuild, no platform migration.
- Works on what you have. Hosted platforms, custom-built sites, in-house PHP — if it runs in a browser, we can plug in.
- Live in two to four weeks. Two-week free pilot on your real catalog first.

The big catalog sites translate. Yours doesn’t.
Your buyer’s purchasing clerk shops like a consumer. They type half a spec, misspell a word, paste a manufacturer part number.
The big catalog sites figure out what they meant. Your site says “0 results.” That’s the moment they click away.
They’re not leaving because the big sites are cheaper. They’re leaving because those sites understand them. You already carry the parts. We just make your website show that.
They call your counter — or click away.
They buy.
Every “0 results” is a lost order.
A buyer searches, sees nothing, and does one of two things: calls your counter (and ties up your staff) or buys somewhere else (and you never hear about it). Most distributors get more of the second than they think.
Most distributor sites have a meaningful empty-search rate. Recovering even a third of those is the kind of number you can defend in a budget meeting.
Illustrative figures. Actual results vary by catalog, traffic, and buyer behavior.
Buyer language in.
Your SKUs out.
Customers don’t search the way you list parts. We bridge the gap between what they type and what’s in your catalog.
“1/2-13 gr8 hex zink 2in” finds the part.
Buyers type half-specs the way they say them. We pull out thread size, grade, head, finish, length — and match the SKU. Imperial, metric, fractions, abbreviations. Your counter phone rings less.
galvanized
Stop losing orders to bad spelling.
“Galvenized.” “Carrage bolt.” “Stainles.” Your buyer’s purchasing clerk isn’t a copy editor. We figure out what they meant — built on parts vocabulary, not generic spellcheck.
Built for the phone in your customer’s hand.
A growing share of B2B searches happen on a phone — at a job site, on a counter, between deliveries. Most distributor sites are unusable there.
Partsift gives you big tap targets, image previews, no pinching to read.
See what people search for — and what they couldn’t find.
Every search shows up here. The ones that came up empty go to the top, ranked by what they cost you. Click one, teach it a word, done. Your sales manager can run it. No developer required.
Partsift vs. what you have today.
The big catalog sites built their search in-house over years, with huge teams. We built ours so distributors like you don’t have to.

|---|---|---|---|

| Mix fractions, inches, and mm | Yes | Sometimes works | With custom rules |
| Fix parts-specific typos (galvenized, carrage) | Yes — built for parts terms | Generic spellcheck at best | Generic spellcheck |
| Match competitor / manufacturer part numbers | Detects today | Rarely | Only with manual cross-ref tables |

We replace one box. Nothing else.
If a vendor wants you to migrate platforms, replumb your ERP, or sit through a six-month implementation — that is not us. Here’s what stays exactly as it is on your site today.
- × Your storefrontYour product pages, cart, checkout, and account flows are untouched. Same URLs, same CMS, same theme.
- × Your PIM or product databaseWe read your public catalog or a feed you send. We don’t write back, sync, or replace your master data.
- × Your ERP or inventoryNo ERP integration required — we don’t touch your back office. If you want stock or pricing in results, we read what’s already on the page.
- × Your pricing logicCustomer-specific pricing, contract pricing, and supplier-cost rules stay in the system that owns them today.
- × Your customer accountsLogins, B2B portals, saved carts, and order history live where they live. Search results respect what they can already see.
- × Your team’s dayNo new tools to learn, no new accounts for sales reps, no training program. We replace one search bar and send your sales manager one weekly email.
If it doesn’t beat your current search, you don’t pay.
Built by a small US-based team. We work with a few distributors at a time so we can pay attention.
The same person who answers your first email is the person who’ll install the widget on your site. No offshore tier, no chatbot, no ticket queue.
We’re new. Read about why we built this
Two weeks on your real catalog. Then decide.

No invoice, no paperwork, no awkward call.
Direct line to the person who built it.
Once you’re in, you get a real direct line — email, phone, a 20-minute install call. No support ticket queue, no offshore tier, no chatbot.
If something’s wrong with how Partsift handles your catalog, we hear about it the same day.

Try it on my catalogYour data — and your pricing — stay yours.
Your supplier pricing, cross-reference tables, and customer search history are yours. Kept separate from every other customer. Never shared, never sold.
Your pricing and customer data stay private
Your supplier relationships, pricing, search logs, and any data you upload live in a database only your company can access. No other distributor can see them. We can’t use them to help a competitor.
Cancel any time. Take your data with you.
Remove one line of code and Partsift is off. We delete your data within 30 days, or export it to you as a spreadsheet — your choice. No lock-in, no cancellation fees, no contracts to fight.

Partsift is one line of code that goes on whatever you have today. The rest of your site stays exactly the way it is.
Hosted e-commerce platforms · Custom-built .NET, PHP, or Java sites · Legacy in-house catalogs · Catalogs from a CSV or ERP feed

Common questions.
How long does it take to go live?
Two to four weeks. Week one, we read your catalog and send a search-quality report. Week two, you try it on your real products. Week three, you set up any merchandising rules. Week four, one line of code on your site and you’re live.
Our website is pretty old. Will this work?
Yes — that’s exactly who we built this for. Older hosted catalogs, custom .NET or PHP sites from the early 2010s, in-house builds nobody’s touched in years — we’ve installed Partsift on all of it. If your site has a search box today and runs in a web browser, we can replace it. We won’t touch the rest of the site.
How does the free pilot work?
We read your catalog from your public site and build a working demo on your real products — free. The pilot runs two to three weeks. If Partsift can’t find parts your current search misses, you walk — no invoice, no paperwork. If you like what you see, paid plans are month-to-month at $1,500/mo. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
We’re not a tech company. Is this going to be a headache?
No. The install is one 20-minute call with whoever runs your website — in-house, contractor, or agency. The dashboard is built for your sales manager, not a developer. If you can use email and read a chart, you can use this. We’ll happily talk to your IT vendor directly if that’s easier.
Do I need to give you my product database?
No. We read the product pages that are already public on your site. If you’d rather send a spreadsheet, ERP feed, or PIM export, that works too — whichever is easier for you.
Is my catalog data used to train AI?
No. We use AI to understand search queries, but your product data and search logs are not used to train models. Our contracts with AI providers explicitly prohibit it. Your supplier relationships and pricing stay yours.
What happens to my existing search?
You can run Partsift alongside your current search during rollout. When you’re confident, switch over fully. And if you ever want to go back, just remove the one line of code — we delete your data within 30 days.
Do you handle competitor or manufacturer cross-references?
Partial. When a buyer types a competitor or manufacturer part number, we recognize it and surface the closest match in your catalog instead of returning “0 results.” Uploading your own cross-reference table is on the roadmap — if that’s the deciding factor for you, ask us where it stands when you reach out.
You’re a small team. What if you go out of business?
Fair question. The widget is one line of code — if Partsift ever shut down, you’d remove that line and your old search comes right back. Nothing about your storefront, catalog, or checkout depends on us. We’re also based in the United States and run lean enough to outlast a slow quarter.
How is this different from the big national sites’ search?
It’s the same idea. They built theirs in-house over years, with huge teams. We built ours so distributors your size don’t have to.
