Further Theory LLC ("Partsift," "we," "us") provides AI-powered search for industrial product distributors. This policy describes how we handle data when you visit our website at partsift.com or use our services.
What we collect
When you request a demo: We collect the name, work email address, and website URL you submit through our contact form. This form is processed by Formspree, Inc. on our behalf. We use this information only to contact you about your demo request.
When you visit our website: Our website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We do not track your browsing behavior on partsift.com.
When you use our search product: If you are a Partsift customer, we process search queries from your website visitors to provide search results. This data is covered by your customer agreement, not this privacy policy. See the "Customer data" section below.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide through the demo request form to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule a demo
- Send you a search quality report for your website (if you provided a URL)
- Follow up about our services
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with other companies for their marketing purposes.
Customer data
If you are a Partsift customer, the data we process on your behalf (product catalogs, search queries, analytics, cross-references, merchandising rules) is governed by your customer agreement, not this privacy policy. In summary:
- Each customer's data is stored separately from other customers
- We do not use customer data to train AI models — our AI provider contracts prohibit it
- We only read product information that is publicly available on your website unless you provide additional data
- We do not share one customer's data with another customer
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate our website and product:
- Formspree — processes demo request form submissions (their privacy policy)
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this website (their privacy policy)
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves this website (their privacy policy)
Data retention
We keep demo request information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for up to 12 months afterward. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@partsift.com.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or request that we restrict it. To exercise these rights, email hello@partsift.com.
If you are in California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email hello@partsift.com.
Data Processing Agreements: If you are a Partsift customer and need a DPA, email hello@partsift.com and we will provide one.
